OUR BELIEFS AND TEACHINGS
|
We believe that God's ultimate purpose for humanity is to conform man into His own image, to 'multiply, replenish and subdue the earth' according to Genesis 1:27 & 28 (among many other scriptures). We believe that this process of conformation is now being completed by the work of 'Christ in us' according to a predestined plan of God as found in Romans 8:29 (among many other scriptures).
We believe that the conformation of this 'new creature' conformed to the Son image has been in formation since Pentecost which was its conception when the word seed was sown into the spiritual womb of the church, who is now bringing forth her 'man-child' to rule the earth with a rod of iron according to many scriptures.
We believe that this humanity who comes forth in the image of God is the many-member body of Christ which is His fullness which fills all things, according to Ephesians 1:23 (among many other scriptures).
We believe that one must be spiritually baptized into this body (according to First Corinthians 112:13) to be a joint-heir member and walk in the activated power of his death and resurrection, thus coming out into the ministry of priesthood to suffer for others under the new covenant.
Our understanding here is that we are now being made kings and priests to reign on earth according to Revelations 5:10 (among other scriptures).
IN CONCLUSION, we believe that whatever our Lord suffered, be it mockery, rejection, cruelty, persecution and ultimately death, we shall (as a joint-heir-partaker of Christ) suffer likewise in a spiritual manner, and in a physical manner in many instances, but we shall also share in His glory, now, not in some far off unreal fashion. We belieeve that God is very present now, that our life in Him is very present reality right now....we believe that His glory shines upon us as he counsels and leads us, and that His power of life eminates out from our person in certain qualified situations. This power is not prayed down from the sky but comes through our joint-heirship with Christ as a partaker in all that he is or ever was.  And so, our life in SONSHIP FAITH is very different from the traditional belief of a far away God and a far away heaven. Our heaven is all around us, but we can only enter into it through and by the person of Christ; HE is the door!
