Humanity in this endtime age is facing spiritual famine as the prophecies of the prophet Joel comes to life in our very presence !
Mankind is dying for spiritual reality, he is thirsting for the water of life, he is in hunger for the bread of life; Mankind is dying because the meat and the drink offering are taken away from the house of God according to Joel ch 1; ver. 13-16.
In this first chapter of Joel we read about a terrible day of destruction, it is the day of the Lord! It is a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day when the whole earth is touched by the wrath of God. Famine is found everywhere as every green plant and grass and trees are burned up. The rivers all have dried up and fire hath devoured the pastures. The cattle are dying in the fields from thirst and hunger. This is a natural condition which portrays a spiritual condition among the people at this time. Here, God has commanded his people to sound a trumpet in Zion and call his people to a fast, to assemble themselves together and cry out to God!
" PARALLELS AND PROTOTYPES"
God has always used parallels and prototypes in the natural form which run along side the spiritual event in each age. Today we must come to know what The Lord is saying to us in the many parallels and prototypes we see being portrayed. It is parallels and prototypes taken from the pages of human history with God and displayed in a three dimensional drama of life, re-enacted on a panorama screen which covers the whole world! A drama enacted in human flesh, in a real world of pain and heartache. The prophetic prototype comes alive as it is re-enacted in parallels in the natural realm to show us exactly what is happening in the spiritual realm of the unseen. For instant; The terrible onslaught of abortions throughout the world is a frightening parallel to the spiritual abortions within the church body. Many spiritual conceptions will never come to birth but will be a lost seed which fell by the wayside, or fell upon a rock, maybe the seed which fell among the thorns, (see Romans ch 8; ver. 5-7.) Some will come to an untimely birth before it is fully matured and like the weak spiritual infant who has been kept on a milk diet too long, and has not developed for a matured birth, such will not be able to function within the kingdom life of the overcomer who walks in full-statures of Christ and rules the earth.
Many parallels are bringing the prototypes into full three dimensional focus. We need to learn just what God is doing in the natural realm as well as the spirit realm. Mankind is suffering from deceptions of traditional teaching and illusions which are spawned from fairy tales coming from the pulpits. Humanity is dying from lack of spiritual reality . The fake heaven we have heard about all our lives, we find to be a pure fabrication , a falsehood which has kept many from striving to reach the high-calling of God!
Man today, needs to find a spiritual reality, he needs to find an activated power of life which moves in, around, above and under him to mold, to recreate, and conform him into the very God-image of Genesis 1-27-28. Mankind needs desperately in this last hour of time, to come out of the world of fantasy of human imagination, a world of maybe so, and uncertainty type of religion and find reality in a Christ who is present now, a Christ within, not an exterior Christ standing at the door, not a Christ who holds your hand, but a Christ within who has been given access to every phase of our life to take from and to add to as he sees fit. We need to be awakened to the reality of a Christ who is bringing forth a new creature, and a new creation and to know that we are being made a part of God's endtime operation in the earth in this last hour of consummation. Unless one is brought into a spiritual reality of this great endtime move of God in the earth he will be found dying in the coming day of destruction which is even now upon us. A make believe 'pie-in-the-sky' theory is not enough, a tale of being carried away to a place in the sky to escape the tribulation is not enough! We stand in need of a spiritual reality. Reality, is truth manifested. Truth will set one free. The spiritual gifts and anointings of a passed age have become dead works and cannot heal or deliver, or bless.
We are in an age when manifested truth is bringing in a real deliverance, a real healing, a real life, a real heaven, not one a million miles away! Humanity is dying for a spiritual reality that work miracle in his life , a miracle of transformation, of conformation. This reality comes about through commitment to God's will and gives him the right to all decisions in your life. From this point on you are 'hid- in- Christ' and the world knows you no more!
It is here that we cease from our own works and enter into the rest of God. This is a spiritual place of rare beauty; a place beside the still waters of peace and serenity. It is a place where one passes through the shadow of His death and comes out into the glories of His resurrection life. It is a place where He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemy.........My cup of joy runs over. It is here, in this place of spiritual reality that I can sit together with Him in heavenly places'. It is here that flesh and spirit become merged into the new creature of being neither male or female, it is a place and time where heaven enhances the earth with the presence of Almighty God in Christ Jesus!
In spiritual reality one finds that he does not 'pray-down' a blessing or a deliverance, but that all he needs is already a living reality waiting to be manifested by the obedience to the word! It is by the activated powers of the cross and resurrection in our every day life that spiritual reality is manifested. We are not 'praying down' a blessing from some geographical point up in the sky. Never have, and never shall . Spiritual reality is having his words abiding in us so that we can ask what we will and it shall be done of the Father, according to St. John ch 15;ver.7. Jesus said in St. John ch 4; ver. 14: 'the water that I give you shall be in you, a well of living water springing up into everlasting lIfe. This is spiritual reality.
The prophet Joel saw an age when the 'meat offering and the drink offering ' would be taken from the house of God. This would bring in a famine and complete desolation. Today we are in the time of which the prophet spoke of , and the meat offering and the drink offering are being withheld from the house of God. Jesus said that his flesh was meat indeed and his blood was drink indeed. This is what is meant by the meat offering and the drink offering. As we go into different places of worship we find that they are ignorant of the meat and drink offering or that they simply prefer not to mention it. Instead of teaching the sprinkling of blood for a cleansing they teach the people to be baptized again each time he sins. Instead of teaching a healing by His strips, they are still trying to administer the spiritual gifts which have become null and void in an age which is passed. So just as the prophet said; the drink offering and the meat offering are taken from the house of the Lord. The process of the sprinkling of blood is never taught in these places therefore the drink offering is withheld from the house of the Lord. And the meat-offering is never taught as being a partaker of Christ, where one partakes of his flesh and of his blood through the operation of God through Christ .
To be a partaker of Christ is to partake of the meat offering and the drink offering of His flesh and of His blood.'My flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed Jesus said.Being a partaker of His body and of His blood makes one a joint-heir with Him. The condition of the religious world at the time of Joel's vision was an endtime condition of where the word is taken out and another way is preached to the people as they remove the meat offering and the drink offering from the house of God. God is calling his true people out of the religious places of this day where the sprinkling of blood and the communion of his body has been removed.
Spiritual reality is being a partaker and a joint-heir with Christ.
This is a reality many are missing in this age of darkness which the prophet saw. Many are gathering together in places of worship where they are not being led to partake of the meat and drink offering of the Lord's body according to St. John ch 6; ver. 53-56. ' My flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed' Jesus said. They are not taught to receive the activated powers of Christ as a way to eternal life. The fact that Jesus is the door never becomes a reality to many. They have heard this very basic truth, and believed it, but it has never come to be a manifested reality in their life. They have no idea of how to enter through this door. Spiritual reality has never come to one who cannot immediately tell how he is partaking of the body of Christ. If one has not yet learned the process of being a 'partaker ' of the flesh and blood of Christ then he is surely in need of a deeper teaching.
When one comes into a spiritual reality his old concepts of God fade away. He becomes a new-man, a man who walks without fear and without doubt. Surely the ages which were shown to the prophet Joel were the three consecutive seasons of the endtime events which are found in other prophecies.First, he sees the destitution of the world as it portrays the spiritual condition of the church......, the meat offering and the drink offering are witholden from the house of God. This is speaking of the communion of the Lords Body, the eating of his flesh and the drinking of His blood as found in St. John ch 6; ver.53-56. It is only by spiritual communion in the Body of Christ that one comes into spiritual reality. Anything less is not reality, but an obsession, an illusion.
This ch 1 of Joel tells of this day which we are now in. This age is heading for a climax of earth shaking events which will bring the next age into focus. Please follow me closely here. Every age will overlap the proceeding age. So the age of famine and barrenness will fade away as the second age brings in the army of God to replenish and subdue the earth. This is the rising up of the manifested Sons of God which we find in Romans ch 8, and is described here in the 2nd ch of Joel. Since these ages are so close as to overlap, we believe that there possibly are a number of the sons of God on earth at this time and that they are bringing to pass the things which we now see coming upon the earth. although they have not yet come into 'full-stature' of His Body as yet, they are appearing here and there the world over. This is what is bringing in the destructions of storms and earth quakes, famines and pestilences. Notice how the Prophet Joel has written these ages in sequence to each other. If you will follow these scriptures you will be able to see the last three ages of the end time as it was unfolded to the prophet some four thousand years ago and is being enacted by every dot and title in this day before our very eyes! What an exciting time we are in! Wake up church and start rocking the boat! Wake up your brothers and sisters in the church . Its time to ' rise and shine'! Praise God!
We could study in this one little book for months. Just three chapters of the most condensed reading in scripture. In the 2nd ch we find God calling a people back to repentance and then He restores the earth back to an abundant harvests ' And I will restore to you . He says.............There is an arrogant people among us today who will not be taught. They are of the Laodicean spirit of thinking that they have all there is to have, all packed up ready to go to a mansion in the sky! But God is calling his people back to a humble spirit of submission.
This will brings us back to spiritual reality for which we thirst! The meek shall inherit the earth! An arrogant, know-it-all spirit is not of God. We must be brought to a place where we can be led as a little child, otherwise we shall never see the kingdom of God! Sound an alarm, he said, tell my people of their sins! Does God's people sin ? Yes they sin, until the sin-in-the-member is crucified by the working of the Christ within! We must come to a place of spiritual reality where we experience the crucifixion of Christ in our own life! This is spiritual reality! When one places two thousand years between himself and the death of the Lord Jesus hen His death becomes nothing more than a fantasy and your religion is vain! Spiritual reality brings His death into my personal, every day life and the sprinkling of His blood is warm and vibrant with life as it cleanses me from all my sins according to 1st. John ch 1; ver. 7-10. Spiritual reality brings forth the joys and powers of His resurrection into my life so that I can sit together with him in heavenly places, here and now. We are not teaching here of a heaven in the sky and a Jesus on cloud nine! Rather we are teaching of a spiritual reality of a here and now Jesus and a heaven on earth, in Him! He is the fullness of all things of which are in heaven and earth and they are all being gathered unto Him in this day of spiritual reality.
