Jesus, a God of Love

There are many religions in this world. But there is only one where the supreme Master is one of love and peace. That master is Jesus Christ. He spoke only words of love and peace. He told Peter, “Peter feed my sheep, my sheep hear my voice, they won’t follow any other” Jesus didn’t tell Peter to go down to the tabernacle and take men with you and run the Pharisees out and kill them so we can take it over for my religion.
These are some of the words that Jesus spoke while on this earth:
Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peace makers for they will be called the Sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for they will inherit the kingdom of God.
Blessed are you when they will revile you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake, rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is you reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets of God which were before you.

You have heard it said and eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you, resist not an evil person but whosoever slaps you on your right cheek turn to him the other also.
These are just a few of the commandments he gave to us but you can see that they are commandments that are based in love. He doesn’t tell us to harm anyone. He tells us to do unto our neighbors as you want him to do to you. No man can find any where in the Gospels where Jesus tells us to harm anyone. He certainly doesn’t tell us to harm or kill anyone who doesn’t believe like you.
We know that all religions on this earth are not like real Christianity. Even during the dark ages the Catholic Church sent the crusaders into Jerusalem where they killed many people. This was not true Christianity because it was against the commandments of Jesus.
Along about this time Mohammad himself was very enamored by the words of Jesus. History books say that he most likely would have become a Christian himself had the crusaders not started killing his people. He turned against Christianity and started the Muslim Religion. Muslims now brutally kill even their own people who convert to Christianity.
Buddhism is another religion that persecutes and kills those who convert to the Christian religion. In India today thousands of their own people who have converted to Christianity are being persecuted and even are killed by strong Buddhists. All other religions are the same when it comes to Christianity. The atheistic communists also hate Christians. In communist China thousands of Christians are even now being persecuted and killed by the communist government.
We also know that some people in the Muslim religion believe that if they commit suicide by blowing themselves up and killing many of their enemies Allah will give them a wonderful place in heaven. We hear about these people killing not only Americans but their own people everyday.
During the 2nd world war Kamikaze pilots flew their airplanes into American ships killing themselves and sinking many ships. These Japanese people were in the Hindu religion. They had a belief similar to the Muslims. They thought they would have a special place in heaven if they killed and destroyed their enemy by committing suicide. Of course these beliefs are false. The living God has never told mankind to kill by committing suicide. He tells us to love one another and to treat others as we want to be treated. If we obeyed the words of Jesus there would be no wars, or starving people in this world. We would have no selfish people starting wars to get material wealth for themselves. Instead we would all be taking care of one another. There would be no selfish and greedy people in the world causing trouble.
I challenge any one who reads this to read the gospels of Jesus Christ and see for yourself that Jesus never once told any of his people to persecute or harm anyone who did not believe in him. His commandment were always centered in love and goodness. You will never hear or see a true Christian persecute and harm another Human being for any reason.
