1) Who is the woman with the crown of twelve stars, clothed with the sun, with the moon at her feet? (Revelations chapt. 12:14)
She represents spiritual Israel as spoken of in the old testament or the church of Jesus Christ in the new testament. She still exists today as the true church. Many churches today claim to be Christian. But they are Christian in name only. They want to be called by his name but they refuse to take up his cross and obey his commandments. At this time we find many churches allowing homosexusals into the pulpit. they are marrying these people in the churches as well. Not only that but many of our well known ministers are endorsing religions that in the past have killed thousands because they left their church yet have never repented of this henious crime. How do we know that they won't do the same thing in the future if given the power.
2) The scriptures say (Revelations: 12:14) that the woman fled into the wilderness out of satan's reach, therefore, he could no longer harm her. What does this mean?
The 13 colonies in America were known as the "wilderness" of the new world. Most of the people who came to the American colonies came here for religious freedom. The state established churches in Europe were persecuting them. Some were killed, many were imprisoned. The woman represents these people who fled to the "wilderness" on the wings of an eagle to obtain their religious freedom. The symbol for the United States became the bald eagle. The american colonies were called the "Wilderness of the New World" at that time
3) What did the dragon (satan) do when he saw that the woman had obtained religious freedom?
He cast a "great flood" out of his mouth in order to sweep the woman and the remnant of her seed away.
4) What was this flood?
This was a deluge of evil philosophy. First to come was secular humanism which was revived by the renaissance. Second, the theory of evolution which fitted in with the revival of science caused many to turn to the Godless evil of atheism. Atheism was also a reaction which came about because of the corruption, immorality, and the desire for power in the state supported catholic church that backed the despotic kings of that era. The church seemed blind to the misery of the people. So, many turned against all religion and became atheists. This evil philosophy of atheism, humanism, and evolution is with us today. It has invaded our schools, churches, and even our way of interpreting life itself. Many people in the Laodicean church believe that those who love and obey Jesus are only using religion as a "crutch'.
5) Revelations 13:1 says: And I stood on the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out of the SEA, ect: What does this mean and has this happened already?
In the symbolism of the bible, sea means people. In other words, this beast (political system that is likened unto a beast) rose up out of many peoples. We know that the United States obtained its freedom from Great Britain in 1776: three years later, in 1779 revolution broke out in France. The people of France had been oppressed and poverty stricken by an insensitive monarchy and the catholic church was so corrupt and immoral that it cared little for the condition of its people. Finally out of sheer desperation the people rose up against the establishment with pitchforks, knives, clubs or any other weapon that they could find and overthrew the government. There followed this uprising a great reign of terror. Thousands of nobility, clergy and many innocent people were put to death by the guillotine.
6) How did the results of the American revolution, that took place three years before, and the french revolution differ?
The American colonies had been formed for the most part by protestants seeking religious freedom. They read their bibles and endeavored to obey the word of God. The constitution was written by men, many of whom, were deeply religious. Many believe even today that our constitution was inspired by the almighty. Sermons in protestant churches were given in English and they had the personal freedom to read their bibles and believe the things they thought were right. For this reason their government took the path of democracy, human rights, and freedom for all men whatever were their beliefs.
On the other hand, France had a state established church which was a virtual religious dictatorship. Their sermons were in Latin and bible reading was discouraged. Very few people knew what was in the bible except what they were told. Most high offices in the church were given to family, friends of the nobility. What was left could be bought with money.
Most of the church officials were corrupt and so were their morals. However, some of the priests were good honest men who loved God and their people, but, because the catholic church is a spiritual dictatorship run by a few men, these good men had little power to make any changes. For these reasons, most politicians of the new french government were either atheists or they hated Christianity. Because their religious system had been a dictatorship the government that was formed had little concept of democracy. Jesus Christ said; "You shall know them by their fruit." This is a fact that is reflected in the political systems throughout the world. The political systems of all the nations are a reflection of the beliefs of the people. Before the 2nd world war there were very few true democracies in this world.
7) What happened to the church after the new French government was formed?
There was an attempt to abolish Christianity. The atheistic commune (governing body) in Paris declared that it would not rest until it had "dethroned the king of heaven as will as the kings on this earth". These atheistic leaders pressured the bishop of Paris to resign, others followed his example. The churches of Paris and other cities were closed and the treasures of the altars and shrines were confiscated by the state. Even the bells were melted down to make cannon. The images of Christ and the virgin were torn down and statues of the leaders of the revolution were put up in their place. Land belonging to the church was taken by the state. This amounted to many thousands of acres. The new government used these lands to back up its currency. These events make us recall Revelations 17:16 which says: and the 10 horns which thou saw on the beast shall hate the whore and make her desolate, and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire, Can you see the similarity of these events and those that happened in Russia 100 years later? Thus the first thing we saw after the birth of the beast was for it to bring judgment on the great whore that spawned it.
8) What was the outcome of the French revolution?
From it we saw a political beast rise up out of the oppressed people of France. It's base was communism and atheism along with an avid hate of religion and capitalism. It's philosophy was based on humanism and "reason" but it had very little tolerance for truth.. It believed in stirring up civil strife within a nation and then taking over the nation itself. During the reign of this beast there were civil wars and nation against nation wars going on all over the world much of the time. (Matthew 24:6) Jesus is asked about what the signs of the end would be and he answered, You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but be not alarmed, such things must happen. but the end is yet to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. Kingdom against Kingdom is the same as civil war This beast that rose up out of the sea brought these words to pass. It was the philosophy of the Russian beast to cause civil strife within a nation and then have it's communist puppets take over the government. While this beast reigned there were many nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom wars going on all the time. 'But the end is not yet. Another, final, beast must rise up out of the earth. (Revelations 13:11) By rising out of the earth it means that it will come out of a political and religious system that has been established since the time of Nimrod. Nimrod was the first Babylonian king. This evil pagan religious system was born in his kingdom. It is satan's "world system". This Babylonian system has opposed God for thousand of years. We see reflections of it in our society now with "Snow White" and the Seven Dwarfs being a "take off" on Jesus and his deciples. If you think about it you can see many others. In revelations they are called Nicolatains, some have called them Gnostics or mystics. Today they are known as "new agers". They are becoming more and more numerous in this country. Some practice astrology, soothsaying (fortune telling) or just plain old witchcraft. This coming beast will be a united religious, political, and economic world system. We saw a small preview of it during Hitler's rein in Germany. Many writers say he was deeply immersed in the new age occult. This coming world order is already in the formative stage. When it is full-grown it's head will be the epitome of evil, the anti-christ, and he will have a mystic called the false prophet to deceive the spiritually blind.
9) Was the French revolution and the rise of the beast the great flood?
No, this was only a partial result of the flood. The flood came in the form of written philosophies of men who hated God and were inspired by evil demonic frog-like spirits. Voltaire was a writer who lived in the time period just before the French revolution. Rousseau was another writer of the same time period. Strangely, they both died in 1778, one year before the French revolution. Their writing was a great part of the cause of the revolution because they inflamed the minds of the people to their terrible condition. Because people only knew Christ and Christianity by looking at their corrupt church they turned away from God into atheism and humanism. Voltaire grew to hate Christianity. He did not believe in a revealed, personal God who was concerned about the human race. Many people become bitter and turn against God when they see the evil going on in the world, but Jesus said, The kingdom of God is within you. Whether Voltaire knew it or not, God is a personal God who is concerned about the human race. To him we are not robots. He tells us how to live in his bible but he does not make us do it. Mankind brings the evil on himself by his disobedience.Voltaire believed that if there was any salvation for humanity it would have to come from humanity itself. He was an extreme humanist.
Rousseau was also an extreme humanist and like Volraire he blamed Christianity for the evil he saw. The only thing was, because of the corruption and evil in the only church he ever knew, he had never seen real Christianity. Many Jews hate Jesus Christ for the same reason. They were persecuted and killed by a church that called itself christian but seemed never to have read the sermon on the mount. Rousseau did not believe in the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, instead, he believed that men in the savage tribal state were the only ones who were really happy. He was, therefore, anti-government and believed that mankind should revert back into the savage state. These are just two examples of the writing of this era, there was much more like it. It should be evident to you by now that it was men like these who where inhabited by demons that contributed to the great flood.
(10) Was the great flood concentrated only in France?
Germany and other European countries also contributed to this athestic, humanist phillosophy. Though the philosophy in Germany tended to be less communistic and somewhat less atheistic it still hated the God of the bible, and Christianity. This philosophy will set the stage for the 2nd beast that will rise up out of the world (Babylonian) system. Men like Frederick Neischie were extremely vocal against the Jewish God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. He flatly stated that the God of the bible was dead, and that he no longer applied to modern man. In a book called, The Anti-Christ, Neischie stated that Judaism and it's off-spring, Christianity, were evil blots on society and should be eradicated from the earth. He said Christianity was spineless because it wants to inhibit all that is "natural" in people. What he calls natural, the apostle Paul calls the lusts of the flesh. Neischie said the restrictive morals of Christianity tend to inhibit mankind from achieving it's godhood by the process of evolution. He believed in a superman which he called an overman that would be superior to the average man. The "new-agers" have the same idea only they call this "superman", solarman. Many of the new-age beliefs came from this godless madman. Neischie said his overman would be very rational and cold. He would not consider the handicapped, the poor or the ones that he considered genetically inferior, in order to purify the human race. He would preform the duties of natural selection. He would be heartless and without natural affection. Adolf Hitler idolized Nieschie and his ideas. He attempted to produce his ideas of an "overman" in his O.S.S. troops that sent millions of Jews and other eastern Europeans to the gas chambers. Perhaps Nieschie should have inhibited some of his own "natural instincts" because he became a raving maniac before he died. He suffered the effects of syphillis which he contacted in his youth. Sexual sin does destroy our bodies just as the apostle Paul says. Many homosexuals are finding this out as well.
We can see that these atheistic and anti-christ philosophies came about like a great flood and indeed, it has caused many to fall away. This is evidenced by the worldly positions that many of our churches have taken concerning homosexuality, abortion, and compromising of the word of God.
11) Who was Charles Darwin and what did he contribute to the great flood?
Charles Darwin was a research biologist. He spent many years on a small island in the Atlantic ocean studying various species of animals. From his studies came the book "Origin of the species". In this book Darwin postulated that all animals including man are the product of the evolutionary process from the simplest one cell organisms to man himself. He claimed that this process came about by natural selection or survival of the fittest. Though his theories have been accepted world wide, no one has been able to prove it, in the laboratory or out. Yet we find that evolution, without any proof of it's truth, is called a science and is taught as truth in our schools. while Christianity is called a religion and cannot be mentioned. Evolution like religion must be accepted by faith, therefore, many people call it a religion. In fact, it is a religion, it is the Gospel of The Beast. This is why God calls these evil political systems "The Beast". The resurrection from the dead is the backbone of the gosple of Christ just as evolution is the backbone of The gosple of the beast.
Yes, Darwin's book was widely accepted and the theory of evolution was born. This so called science seemed to give credence to the philosophies of humanism and to do away with the belief that man was created by a personal God who had a purpose for mankind in Christ Jesus. Instead, it promoted the idea that there is no God. Or if God exists he doesn't care about mankind at all. Many atheistic writers appeared. Carl Marx was one of them. It was his book, The Communist Manifesto, that promoted a comunistic government, atheism and an evil philosophy of violence to overthrow all capitalistic governments and make the world a godless, communist state. The state itself would become God to the people. Troskey and Linen succeeded in setting up a government in Russia patterned after Marx's ideas, Marx had studied in the schools of Paris and was a disciple of Voltaire and Rousseau. Where the Frenchman, Napoleon Bonaparte, had failed to take over Russia for the newborn beast, the flood cast out of the mouth of Carl Marx did.
12) Is society through out the world already worshipping the beast?
First, I will cover a few more topics and I will let you decide that for yourself. Sigmund Freud was a Austrian doctor of medicine. In his studies of medicine he became interested in mental illness. He began to dedicate more and more of his time to the field of psychiatry. He also became a disciple in Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, so, from this he postulated a new method of treating mental illness. this method had it's basis in evolution. It was called psychoanalysis. He stated that all mankind has a subconscious biological memory that extends all the way back to the simplest one cell organism. Freud said that this biological memory was concerned with two things, procreation (sex) and survival. (extreme selfishness) He said that people become neurotic and sometimes psychotic whenever they inhibit these biological drives.
These drives that Freud exalts so highly are no more than the instincts of a beast. This is evidenced by observing a pack of male dogs after a female in heat. By the same token; have you ever watched hungry animals at the food dish? This is survival of the fittest. They exhibit extreme selfishness don't they? The young and the weak get what's left or nothing at all. This is the behavior that Freud says that we must not inhibit or we will become neurotic. Do you see why the question was asked, do we already worship the beast? Society has swallowed this beastal nonsense hook line and sinker. I wonder if Freud ever asked himself where the feeling of guilt came from that he tried to explain away? Have you ever seen a beast exhibit guilt? Thus, Freud says we must become beasts in order to keep our mental health.Perhaps this is why male teenagers run the streets in gangs acting like beasts.
From these two basic animal instincts Freud has based a, "so called", mind healing treatment that attempts to explain away guilt by saying sin is natural and it does away with repentance by saying, if it feels good go ahead and do it. From all this nonsense we have given birth to a selfish, promiscuous society that discusses the problems of teen pregnancies, AIDS, and all other kinds of social problems but is very careful never to mention the words abstinence or repentance. We have glorified the words of Nieschie by saying the weak espouse religion, the strong do something about it. This is the same one that died a madman because he got syphilis in his youth doing what comes naturally. Someone should have told him that only the strong in spirit survive because they abstain. Our churches are so intent on preaching the beastly gospel of self esteem that they have forgotten to tell us about the cross that we must bear to burn out the impurities of sin to make us perfect in Christ Jesus.
13) What is psychology? Is it part of the flood?
This so called "science" is as old as the devil himself. He probably used it to seduce one third of the angels. But we will talk about modern psychology here. A Russian named Pavlov did some experiments on dogs in which he could condition certain reflexes in them by inducing an elictrical stimulus. For instance, he gave them a series of electric shocks and then immediately fed them tasty morsels of meat. Soon when the shocks were applied they began to salivate profusely in anticipation of the meat. From this and many other experiments, the science of modern psychology was greatly enhanced. Psychology has been successfully used by satan since the fall of Adam to seduce men, but with modern man it is a way of life. It is a method used to control people by using the basic animal urges that Freud spoke about.
Advertisers often use the sex urge to entice people to buy their products. Pretty girls in skimpy bathing suits sell everything from breakfast foods to new cars on television. School teachers are taught how to use it to control their students, corporations use it to control their employees. Just about every facet of society uses it in some way. The evil one has used it since the fall of Adam to control all flesh. He is the master of psychology. Even today he is using the same psychology on people that he used on Eve. He is saying "you are as gods", "by the process of reincarnation you will never die".
The one place psychology should never be used is in Jesus' church. However, it is used to fill the pew's, to increase the peoples's giving, and in their sermons as well. It is taught in seminaries. Television preachers use it to increase the money sent to them. This writer once went to one of Kentucky's larger cities to hear a famous T.V. preacher. Each time the collection plate was passed around he stationed his collectors among the crowd. The preacher and these people he had stationed began to work the congregation into a high emotional state. The preacher would tell an incident of someone's healing or some other miracle, Whereupon these people stationed in the crowd would raise their hands and shout praises to God There was a obvious effect upon the people. This began to destroy my respect for the preacher. As I grew more and more in the spirit I also saw that this man's preaching was in error also. He preached faith to the exclusion of all else. He said we could receive healing for all our ills, better yet we could never get sick. He claimed we could have cadillacs, boats, and scads of money if we had the faith. Maybe this is true, but he never mentioned the cross. Jesus said, you must take up your cross and follow me. If there wasn't a cross to bear then he wouldn't have said it. Peter said, tribulation (cross) brings patience, patience begats faith and faith then brings the love of God shed abroad in our hearts, So from this it seems that without the cross, which is tribulation, we cannot obtain faith. How can a Christian believe that God will give him a big new car to drive around in while thousands of children all over the world go to bed hungry. We ask and receive not because we ask amiss on the grounds of selfishness.
Psychology then, is a first cousin to evolution and psychoanalysis. It is a method of controlling flesh. Sex, the desire to be liked, the desire for good foods, the desire for money and power are all enticements of psychology. Many evil dictators use the will to survive on people as they control by the threat of violence and death. Even the will to survive is selfish if it means the forsaking of our faith in Jesus Christ. Of course those who worship the beast and believe in his gospel will disagree with this. Some day they will see their error.
(14) What conclusion can be reached from all this?
We see the woman who is the church of Jesus Christ fleeing from persecution by satan, the dragon, into the wilderness. When the pilgrims came to the North American continent it was called the wilderness of the new world. These people and many others came to this country to obtain their precious religious freedom. When satan the dragon saw that he could not harm her any longer he cast out of his mouth a great flood of anti-christ philosophy that is based on the theory of evolution and humanism. It is the gospel of the beast and is grounded in the instincts of a beast. The dragon has caused many believers to fall away from the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Evolutionists are constantly looking back into the jungle to study beasts that they might understand mankind better. The apostle Paul said, once you put your hand to the plow to follow Jesus, never look back. Why? Who wants to learn about "the creature" when we can learn of Almighty God. We see, so called freedom societies taking prayer, the ten commandments and all else that pays respect to God from our schools and replacing it with the religion of evolution and psychology, the gospel of the beast. Though both evolution and Christianity must be accepted by faith, evolution is called a science and is taught in our schools while even the mention of Christ is not allowed. We see the result of the great flood and the worship of the beast every day. Our churches have become more worldly. They no longer condemn sin. Homosexuality is no longer banned as a sin, Christ is no longer the only way into the kingdom of God. Instead, they say all religions are acceptable to God. Remember, the next beast will not rise out of the sea, it will rise out of the earth. The Babylonian system of religion and politics has existed in the earth since the time of Nemrod. A good description of this beast is given in the book of Daniel chapter 3. I quote: Thou, O king sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and arms of silver, his belly and thighs of brass. His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Please note that the feet are the only part of the image in contact with the earth. It's the Babylonian system that is in existence at the time of the end. The golden head was Nebuchadrezar's kingdom. The silver chest was the Greek kingdom, the iron legs was the Roman kingdom ect. The clay in the feet is symbolic of the great diversity of religeous beliefs and the various cultures that make up the people in this one world government. The iron represents the economic system of this beastal kingdom at the time of the end. The clay is the weakest part of the beast. The evil anti-Christ who is head of this great political beast will find it hard to hold the allegiance of these people. Part of his feet are made of iron. This is symbolic of the strong economic system that controls it. James says that the rich heap to themselves treasures for the last days. (James 5:3) This is the money that has been hoarded up by rich bankers, industrialists and religious systems. It holds these people together with the promise of prosperity. You can be sure that the epitome of evil will be the eventual head of this one world government. The great stone that was made without hands will smite this beast on it's feet and the whole system will crumble to dust. This will be the end of the Babylonian system forever. Praise the name of Jesus! Note also in revelations that it is likened unto a lamb that has turned into an evil ram. Could this be the fallen state of our own country? Repent and watch lest you become snarled by the wiles of satan where there is no repentance. Indeed this writer does believe that the present world system worships the beast. It now awaits the anti-christ to come on the scene.
