COMMANDMENT TO SPEAK
There are many beliefs about Jesus the Christian savior. Many people in this world believe that he is just one of the "Masters" who have been sent into this world by karma the mysterious god of eastern religions. They say he is not the one who brought eternal life into this world. Instead, they believe that eternal life comes by many reincarnations. They say he came only to be a teacher like Buddha or some of the other masters. True Christians know that he is the Son of the great Creator God, Jehovah, who came to bring salvation to those who believe on him.
The Israelite religion goes back into history many thousands of years because there has been many accounts of them in recorded history. They have outlasted many other religions. This writer once read a book on early history by a man named H. G. Wells. Wells wrote in his book that the Jewish religion has outlasted all of the pagan religions because the Jewish God, Jehovah, continually made promises to the Israelites. The pagan gods did not. I thought about this for several days after I read it. One day the Holy ghost said, "The reason the other gods didn’t make promises is that satan cannot keep his promises, our God can. All down through the centuries the Jews have looked for fulfillment of God’s promises. Many are recorded in the Bible. One thing they have looked for is the coming of their messiah. Though most of them don’t believe it, He has already come. Why didn’t they recognize him when he came 2000 years ago? The reason can be found in Isaiah chapter 6. God said, "Go tell this people, hear ye indeed, but understand not. See ye indeed but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts and become saved and be healed. When God makes a statement it is kept. Jehovah is an omnipotent God and it is impossible for any thing he says to fail. That’s why the Jews didn’t know him when he came
Many people on this earth don’t believe that Jesus is the Son of Moses’ God, Jehovah. Even most of the Jews on this earth don’t believe it. For this reason I will attempt to show you by the very scriptures that Jesus was indeed the son of Moses’ god and was sent by him to bring salvation to all those who believe on him.
First, we must go back to Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18,19. God is speaking to his servant Moses: "I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, he’ll be like you, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him to speak".
Now go to John 12:49, 50: Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees; "I have not spoken of myself but the Father which sent me, He gave me a commandment what I should say and what I should speak, and I know that his commandment is life everlasting: what so ever I speak therefore, even as the Father said to me, that’s what I speak."
You see here two things, God speaks to Moses and said that he would raise up the Messiah and would command him what to speak. The next thing, Jesus confirms to the Pharisee’s that he is speaking the very words he was commanded speak. God spoke these things to Moses thousands of years before Jesus spoke them.
Now let us go back to Deut. 18 : 19 and see what else God spoke to Moses.
Verse 19 "And it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken unto my words that he shall speak in my name I will require it of them".(judge them). This is saying that if they don’t believe the words that Jesus speaks God will judge them for it.
Now lets see what else Jesus also said to the Pharisee’s. John chapter 12 verses47, 48 Jesus is speaking to them. "If any man hears my words and believes them not, I judge him not, for I came not to judge the world but to save the world" Verse 48: "But he that rejects me and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, it will judge him in the last day." Here, Jesus is saying the very thing that God said to Moses.
We see again that god said in Deuteronomy 18 verse18,19 that if they didn’t believe the one he sent he would require it of them (judgment) in the last days. Jesus in John 12; 48 also said that those who don’t believe his words would be judged in the last days.
God spoke these words to Moses at least 1500 years before Jesus ever came to this earth. By speaking the same words to the Pharisees he is confirming that he is not just one of the great "masters", He is THE MASTER sent by the living, eternal God, Jehovah. None of the Pharisees believed him. This is as plain as you can get, yet thousands of "new agers" and thousands of Jews don’t believe in him either. He is the one sent by the creator God and unless we enter into him, who is the door to life, we are destined for a sentence of eternal death. We know that we live in a universe that is slowly dieing. Reincarnation or any other method of salvation based in flesh is headed for death. Jeremiah the prophet said," CURSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE ARM OF FLESH".
