God has placed a curse on mankind. What is this curse? It is a curse of death. Not only has God placed death on mankind, we also see that all nations on this earth have a sentence of death on evil men who are unable to abide by the laws of society. Is this why God has placed this death sentence on men? God created mankind for a purpose and I will try to show you what this purpose is in this tract. God knows that the men who have this selfish, greedy, "Adam" nature cannot handle His omnipotent power.
Why did God make the creation? The bible says in John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, the word was with God and the word was God." What was this word? This word was the Son, Jesus. The scripture goes on to say, "In him was light and this light was the life of men." Even though God placed a curse of death on mankind, He also made an escape from this death sentence. This is through and by his son Jesus, who is the only door out of this system of death into eternal life in God. We know that when Jesus walked this earth he had the power of God at his disposal. Yet, not once did he ever use this power for selfish reasons. He used it to heal, to feed 5000 hungry people, and he hmbled himself and allowed evil men to crucify him. He once said, "All I have to do is say the word and 12 legions of angels would come to his aid." (Matthew 26:53) |
